Question
Will the Minister confirm whether the participants in the consumer re-contact survey conducted by Visit Wales, dated 19 January to 3 February 2023, were asked about the impacts of the tourism tax?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Arts and Sport, and Chief Whip
The consumer re-contact survey is undertaken to support Visit Wales marketing activity and collects valuable information on trips taken, marketing impact and trip intentions for 2023. No questions on the Visitor Levy were included. This has been covered in a separate survey which was published on the 30th March.
