Question
What plans do the Welsh Government have for the recently purchased land at Sandy Bay in Porthcawl?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
We are aiming to jointly deliver with Bridgend Council a mixed-use development, including around 900 low carbon homes, up to 50% of which will be affordable, a new primary school together with new commercial, recreational and leisure opportunities for the benefit of residents and visitors.
Further details are set out in Bridgend Council’s announcement and Porthcawl Placemaking Strategy.
