Question
What consideration has the Minister given to trialing the abolition of the return ticket scheme which has been recently introduced by the UK Government on the London North Eastern Railway?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
There are no current plans to trial the abolition of return tickets on Transport for Wales services. Transport for Wales is working to simplify its fares and ticketing as well as offering a range of discounts, including on long-distance services. It will continue to refine its offers to encourage more passengers to use TfW services.
