Question
Does the Welsh Government assist in any capacity with the hosting, funding, staffing or advertising of pre-harvest health and safety workshops for farmers in Wales?

Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
Officials are not aware of specific pre-harvest health and safety workshops for farmers in Wales, however, safety related guidance on machinery including the use of trailers has been promoted by the Wales Farm Safety Partnership.
Plans are also in place to work with Wales Young Farmers’ Clubs (YFC), including providing training and practical safety related demonstrations to YFC members to help them understand the dangers when using farm machinery.
