Further to WQ88410, will the Minister confirm whether police drivers can exceed the speed limit by more than 20mph?

Under Section 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 there is exemption for fire, ambulance and police vehicles from speed limits. How much a police officer can exceed the speed the speed limit is determined by each police force’s policy.
