Question
What steps is the Welsh Government taking to stand up for Welsh farmers in the face of growing anti-farming activity from animal protection and environmental activists?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
Welsh Government officials regularly attend the Livestock Chain Advisory Group, where the impact of protests on the farming sector has been raised by stakeholders. The Welsh Government is working with DEFRA to monitor the situation and share intelligence on potential disruption to supply chains.
