What date will the Minister be publishing the 2023 to 2024 health and social care winter plan?

I have no intention to publish a separate health and social care winter plan in 2023/2024. NHS organisations are required to consider seasonality as part of the integrated planning processes and this is set out in our annual planning framework. We also expect organisations to strengthen operational planning and contingency plans at times of anticipated or increased demand, including the winter months.
You will be aware I recently published a Written Statement on Winter Planning for Respiratory Viruses which provides further information on the national support provided to NHS organisations and Local Authorities to strengthen seasonal planning arrangements.
I will also be providing an update to members on winter planning for 2023/24 in September.
