Question
What action is the Welsh Government taking to increase foreign direct investment?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Economy
As outlined in my response to WQ88180, the Welsh Government is actively promoting Wales as a location for investment through the activity outlined in the Economic Mission and International Strategy.
In addition to working with existing investors, we are promoting those areas of the economy where Wales has international class capabilities (including cyber, compound semiconductors, fintech, life sciences and renewable energy).
