Question

What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the quality of foundation schools?

Answer

Answered by Minister for Education and the Welsh Language

There are currently only 10 foundation schools in Wales. Since 2013 no new foundation schools may be established in Wales. These are inspected by Estyn in the same way as maintained schools. Inspection reports can be found on Estyn’s website.
