What plans does the Welsh Government have to either remove the requirement to advertise individual planning applications in the print media, or to allow for adverts to be either in print or online media?

The requirement to publicise some planning applications in a local newspaper can be a significant budget pressure for local planning authorities. Although the circulation of local papers has fallen, they continue to provide a key source of information for some sections of our communities who do not have access to digital media.
