How will the Welsh Government's innovation strategy support pandemic preparedness?

The Welsh Government’s Innovation Strategy notes that the learning from Covid-19 is influencing our thinking and planning for future pandemics.
The adoption of innovation in our pandemic preparedness will include how we undertake research, surveillance, vaccination and testing developments as well as the integration of behavioural science.
In line with our Innovation Strategy and recently published Diagnostics Plan we are working across Welsh Government and with a range of stakeholders including academia and industry to further advance our approaches to challenges such as Covid-19.
