Question
What consultation, if any, did the UK Government undertake with the Welsh Government regarding its views on the Northern Ireland Troubles (Legacy and Reconciliation) Bill, and will the Counsel General outline the Welsh Government’s position on the Bill?
Answer
Answered by Counsel General and Minister for the Constitution
No substantive engagement has taken place with UK Government Bill leads. The Welsh Government has analysed this Bill and does not consider that it impacts on executive or legislative competence.
