Question
Will the Minister confirm when technical consultants Ricardo were appointed to undertake data collection and scenario analysis for the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Bill?

In accordance with Welsh Government’s standard procurement practice, Ricardo-AEA Ltd was awarded the contract ‘Supporting the Development of National Air Quality Target Proposals’ on 6 December 2022. The outcome of this research is expected to be completed this Senedd term and will inform a range of options for Ministers to consider on future air quality targets for Wales across a range of pollutants.
