Will the Minister confirm whether the total funding announced by the UK Government will be made available to farm businesses via the Basic Payment Scheme and Rural Investment Schemes given that the 2021 UK Government spending review committed £907.8m for farming funding over three years (2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25)?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
The funding provided by the UK Government will be directly and indirectly made available to farmers, land managers and the food supply chain, subject to decisions still to be taken for the 2024/25 budget.
