Question
What steps is the Minister taking to ensure that all passengers travelling on the Conwy Valley railway line are doing so in accordance with section 6.1 of the National Rail Conditions of Travel applicable from 6 February 2022?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
All services on the Conwy Valley Line are staffed with a conductor who can provide passengers with tickets for their journey. There are also ticket offices at Llandudno and Llandudno Junction which are open 7 days a week to provide passengers with tickets and journey information. Transport for Wales also conduct regular revenue enforcement activities on the line to ensure that passengers pay for the journeys they are making.
