What number and overall percentage of a) children and b) adults with cystic fibrosis saw a a) clinical psychologist and b) social worker at a) their annual review and b) anytime within the year, in 2022?

Information on the number and overall percentage of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients who have accessed psychology and social work services is not collected centrally in Welsh Government.
The Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC) is responsible for commissioning CF care in Wales, with Cardiff and Vale University Health Board providing a service for patients in mid and south Wales. Patients with CF in north Wales access services in England. WHSSC works with the CF care providers that it commissions to ensure that they are able to meet the standards contained in WHSSC’s Cystic Fibrosis Service Specification, which is itself in line with appropriate national standards and benchmarking.
There is an opportunity at every clinic review to request to see the social worker or clinical psychologist.
