Has the Minister set a target date for eliminating waits beyond the target time for at-risk eye patients and if so, when?

The target for the eye care measures remains 95% of patients assessed as Health Risk Factor R1 to be waiting within their target date or within 25% beyond their target date.
Through discussions with Chairs and through a dedicated eye care summit, I have been clear with the NHS that they are required to deliver against this target. The health boards through dedicated monthly meetings with Welsh Government officials are held accountable for demonstrating improvements against their improvement plans to deliver and then sustain the target.
