Question
What plans does the Minister have to assist people and businesses who are disadvantaged by the 20mph speed limits, such as those highlighted in the recent BBC story on the Rhondda Valley?

Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
We will continue to monitor impacts of the new speed limit on local communities and businesses. Overall our expectation is that it will strengthen local economies through increased footfall, increase social cohesion, improve physical and mental health, and reduce the workload of the NHS and emergency services.
