Answer
Answered by Minister for Education and the Welsh Language
Systemic reform of the education system in Wales is underway through a new curriculum and a new ALN system which together will help ensure all learners are supported to reach their full potential.
The Welsh Government has already invested heavily in the early years to support Speech, Language and Communication to help ensure children are supported.
The ability to communicate is an essential life skill for all children and young people and early identification and intervention is essential.
The Welsh Government plans to develop resources to help education settings support children and young people who have speech, language, and communication needs.
