Question
Does the Welsh Government intend to provide the Wales Farm Safety Partnership with funding every financial year going forward, and if so, will the sum adjust with inflation?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
Between 2018 and 2023, the Welsh Government allocated £115,000 to the Wales Farm Safety Partnership to promote good health and safety practice on farm. A further £80,000 has been allocated in 2023-24.
The Welsh Government is currently developing the draft Budget 2024-25 against the backdrop of extremely challenging financial pressures. The draft Budget is due to be published on 19 December.
