What discussions did the Minister or Deputy Minister have with UEFA about Wales hosting games for the Euro 2028 tournament?

Discussions with UEFA were led by the central bid team with Welsh Government officials playing an active part in the working group that supported the football associations in their ultimately successful bid to host Euro 2028. We will continue to work with international, national and local partners to ensure that the tournament is successfully delivered and provides the host nations with maximum benefits. The suggested match schedule is subject to further consultation and input from UEFA following the successful winning of the bid.
