Further to WQ90021 and WQ90022, what factors does the Minister expect health boards to consider when planning and commissioning phlebotomy services to ensure equity of access to such services?

The NHS Wales Planning Framework 2022-2025 sets out guidance to health boards in the planning of all health care services, including phlebotomy. I expect health boards to use the Framework in planning service delivery to achieve the visons and commitments of “A Healthier Wales”; ensuring access to care closer to home, using prudent health care principles and value based healthcare.
