Question
What action will the Minister take to ensure more bus operators do not reduce their services as a result of the 20mph speed limit, in light of the reduction of bus services in Denbighshire?

We were disappointed with the recent decision by Arriva Buses Wales to make changes across their commercial bus network in north Wales. We are however working very closely with Transport for Wales to mitigate the actions of Arriva. We are also continuing to monitor the impact the 20mph policy on local bus operations across Wales, and welcome robust proposals from local authorities for funding to introduce new bus priority schemes to improve the flow of buses on congested sections of the highway network.
