Question
Will the Minister confirm what arrangements have been put into place for transporting learners to Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn from Machynlleth during the closure of the A487 on the Pennal turn towards Tywyn from 10 February?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
Due to essential road maintenance works, I am pleased to confirm that we are making arrangements to provide a dedicated shuttle bus service for learners travelling between Machynlleth and Ysgol Uwchradd Tywyn during the closure of the A487 on the Pennal turn towards Tywyn from 10 February. We are also working closely with Traveline, Gwynedd Council and bus operators to publicise changes to other local bus services which will be impacted by this closure.
