Further to WQ90367, why did the Minister not proactively seek information on best practice or ongoing pilot projects in other parts of the UK, given the Welsh Government declared that getting children back in classrooms is its number one priority in October 2023?

My officials regularly meet with counterparts from across the UK as well as drawing on international networks. We draw on a wide range of published and peer reviewed evidence to ensure the policies we develop are robust and fit for purpose, taking into account the issues and challenges facing schools in Wales developing policy.
