Question
Will the Minister provide an update on what discussions the Minister is having with Welsh Government colleagues to attract more major professional wrestling events to Wales?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism
The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) ‘Clash at the Castle’ event was successfully staged at the Principality Stadium in September 2022. Since then, officials remain in contact with the event owners and promoters, and we are always open to considering opportunities to host events in Wales.
