What is the estimated cost for each local authority in Wales to fund the 5 per cent increase in teachers' salaries for the academic year 2024-25?

The estimated cost of 5% increase in teachers’ salaries from September 2023 for all local authorities in Wales for the academic year 2024-25 is £82.3m. The cost for each local authority will be a matter for them and these details are not held centrally.
