Question
Will the Minister provide an update on how much funding the Welsh Government has provided the arts sector to address cost-of-living pressures?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism
The Welsh Government has allocated over £1.2m to support cost of living pressures in the arts sector via the Arts Council of Wales, with £500k provided in 2022-23 and a further £500k allocated for 2023-24. An additional £215k was also made available in 2023-24 as part of a wider Welsh Government package of support for the culture and sport sector in Wales.
