Question
What assessment has the Minister made of reasons for pest control callouts increasing in Cardiff?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd
I am aware of the recent callout statistics published by Cardiff Council. Local authorities have a duty to ensure that their areas are kept free from pests and Cardiff Council provide a comprehensive service for treating a variety of pests in both domestic and commercial properties. They also provide advice to residents on practical ways they can take action to prevent problems with pests.
