Question
Does the Minister plan to increase the number of train stations in Wales beyond what is currently in development?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Climate Change
Rail infrastructure outside of the Core Valley Lines Network, including the provision of new stations, is a reserved matter and the responsibility of the UK Government. We will continue to make proposals for future new stations across Wales, such as the recent consultation for five new stations in South East Wales.
