Question
What assessment has the Minister made of whether the former Toys R Us site being used as temporary accommodation, meets the definition of 'basic standard accommodation' as defined by Shelter Cymru?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
The Welsh Government does not collect or hold data on persons in individual temporary accommodation settings. The provision of temporary accommodation is the responsibility of local authorities and specific details on such settings, including compliance with the Code of Guidance, and the process undertaken to bring them online is a matter for the relevant local authority.
