Question
Further to WQ91025, what education, cultural, business and sporting organisations did Welsh Government officials at international offices in Chongqing, Beijing and Shanghai meet in the last 12 months?
Answer
Answered by First Minister (Mark Drakeford)
Many of the meetings held with the various organisations and businesses over the last 12 months are subject to confidentiality and details cannot be disclosed. Some examples have been provided below.
The teams in China have supported Welsh Further and Higher Education institutions to develop partnerships with Chinese universities, including supporting Cardiff and Vale College to develop and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Fan-Mei Education Group. The China offices have also attended events to promote Wales’ food and drink sectors, tourism, and climate change.
