Question
What action has the Minister taken to encourage the use of recyclable wet wipes?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Climate Change
In our experience wet wipes cannot currently be recycled, even if made of purely natural fibres, as paper and card manufacturers do not take them. We encourage the use of reusable options, where possible, instead.
