Question
What consideration was given to the duty to secure proper education and training facilities for people aged 16 to 19, as outlined in the Learning and Skills Act 2000 and the Tertiary Education and Research (Wales) Act 2022, when determining funding allocations for further education, apprenticeships, and Jobs Growth Wales+?

The Strategic Integrated Impact Assessment (SIIA) outlines the impacts of budget decisions, which is available at WG SIIA Draft Budget 2024 to 2025. Alongside this, responses of individual Ministers to their respective policy committees with the associated consideration of impacts is available at WG Draft Budget 2024-25 web page.
The Strategic Integrated Impact Assessment was undertaken for the Draft Budget, £5.25 apprenticeship funding was reallocated to apprenticeships in the Final Budget.
