Question
What support does the Welsh Government offer local authorities who have schools damaged due to unforeseen circumstances such as fire, flood, or storms?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Education
It is the responsibility of all local authorities throughout Wales to ensure that all their school buildings are insured. Welsh Government officials work closely with local authority representatives and would consider support for unforeseen circumstances on an individual basis.
