Question
Why is the Welsh Government charging 8.25 per cent interest on the COVID loan with Wales's four rugby regions, while English clubs are paying 2 per cent interest to the UK Government?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Culture and Social Justice
The Welsh Government’s loan is directly with WRU and is not a Covid loan, but a commercial loan.
