Question
What assessment has the Cabinet Secretary made of the impact of Hywel Dda University Health Board's switch it off campaign?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Hywel Dda University Health Board's switch it off campaign, is a behaviour change programme which forms part of the organisation’s Decarbonisation Action Plan. Assessment of its impact is for the organisation to undertake.
Decarbonisation Action Plans form the basis of how NHS organisations are implementing the NHS Wales Decarbonisation Strategic Delivery Plan. Organisations submit an annual qualitative report on progress against plans as part of the NHS Wales Integrated Medium Term Plan process. The Welsh Public Sector Net Zero Reporting Guide is the main mechanism for NHS organisations to report emissions annually. The latest figures for 2022/23 were recently published.
