Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary list the settings that provide dental services on the NHS in Arfon and of those, which ones currently register patients on waiting lists on the NHS?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Welsh Government does not hold this information. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is responsible for providing dental services to its local population, as such these questions should be addressed to them.
I have asked Digital Health Care Wales to develop a dental access portal that will enable anyone seeking access to routine care to register their details. Once implemented later this year this will provide Government and health boards with a clear indication of additional services and workforce required to meet local needs.
