Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary publish quarterly truancy rates for each day of the school week, for every quarter since quarter 1 2021?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Education
We do not collect data on truancy levels. This data would be captured within the wider category of unauthorised absence. Data on unauthorised absence levels is published regularly at a national level, as part of the wider publication on attendance and includes data by day and by week. All publications in this series, can be accessed here.
