How is the Cabinet Secretary working with the Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Welsh Language to ensure schools can access the best interest rates from banks on their reserves?

Funding for most schools in Wales is held by the local authorities and therefore managed under their overarching treasury management function.
The banking arrangements that may be made by governing bodies are set out in individual Local Authority Schemes for Financing Schools which are approved by their school forums.
