Question
What is the Welsh Government doing to limit overspending by health boards in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Our 2024/25 Budget demonstrated our commitment to the NHS investing an additional £450m.
Finance and planning are key considerations within our escalation and intervention framework for the NHS on which I regularly update the Senedd. Further details of that framework can be found here: NHS Wales escalation and intervention arrangements | GOV.WALES
