Question
When will the Government release the data from the most recent academic year on students in higher education, in light of the statistics released in January 2023 on students in higher education: September 2021 to August 2022?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Education
The referenced statistics are produced using data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA). HESA did not publish their 2022/23 student statistics products as normally scheduled in January this year but are expected to publish their student bulletin and open data in August 2024. Our statistics will be published following this.
