What is the average percentage of Welsh speakers who currently serve on the bodies and boards that the Welsh Government appoint to through the public appointments system?

We do not keep data on people who are currently serving on boards and bodies but we collect data at the point of appointment. On 22 August 2024, 32.4% of people appointed and reappointed to regulated public appointments over the last 12 months indicated that they had Welsh language skills.
