Question
What measurement does the Welsh Government use to monitor river water quality?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
River water quality monitoring is undertaken by Natural Resources Wales. I refer the Member to Section 4 of the Senedd Research Briefing on Water Quality in Wales, which sets out how the water quality of all water bodies in Wales, including rivers, are assessed.
