Question
What steps is the Cabinet Secretary taking to encourage more people into creative professions?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning
Creative Wales has an industry-led skills action plan which includes interventions to raise awareness of the sector as a career choice and support new entrants into the industry. Creative Wales also has a skills fund which is now in its second round. An announcement will be made shortly regarding successful projects, a number of which will address this priority.
