What progress has been made by Public Health Wales regarding the country-wide lung screening rollout, including a permanent site within the Cwm Taf Morgannwg health board area, following the pilot in Rhondda?

Public Health Wales has started scoping work to implement a targeted lung screening programme across all health board areas in Wales. This will include an assessment of resource and workforce needs, integration with smoking cessation services and potential impact on wider health board services. The first phase of this work is due to be completed by autumn 2025.
