Question
Further to WQ93660, will the Cabinet Secretary provide further details on the £75,000 for the Penwallis bus priority scheme and long-haul routes?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
The Welsh Government awarded Pembrokeshire County Council £75,000 for Penwallis bus priority scheme and long-haul routes. This is to enable the 410 bus to access an ill-served housing estate and eliminate the need for a reversing manoeuvre. Online public consultation on this starts on the 14th October. The funding will also enable improved wheelchair access at long haul coach stops in the area. This work is currently in the design phase, with a view to construction in 2025-26.
