Will the Welsh Government advise against any changes to, or eliminations of the single person discount by Welsh councils, allowed under provisions in the Local Government Finance (Wales) Act?

The Local Government Finance (Wales) Act 2024 maintains the one liable adult discount (more commonly referred to as the single person discount). There are no plans to allow local authorities to disapply or reduce this discount.
