Question
What involvement has the Welsh Government had to date with the ocean literacy initiative and the Hiraeth yn y Môr project in north Wales, and how does it plan to increase its involvement?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
The Dental Access Portal went live in Powys on 19 September. Full roll out across Wales is scheduled for November.
Welsh Government has provided funding of up to £139,000 through the Coastal Capacity Building Fund to CaSP’s Ocean Literacy Steering Group. We have also provided £244,000 in funding to the Hiraeth yn y Môr project through the Nature Networks Fund. Welsh Government will continue to work with the Steering Group to identify funding to drive forward the actions in Y Môr a Ni.
