Question
What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the impact of noise pollution on children's health?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Children and Social Care
The Welsh Government recognises the importance of a healthy sound environment for everyone, including children. This is reflected in the commitments we have made in the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Act 2024 and in our Noise and Soundscape Plan for Wales 2023-2028. We are further developing our guidance to local authorities in relation to noise and soundscapes to support them in addressing issues in their local areas.
